Refund and Returns Policy

1. Overview

At AlterRealiTee, we strive to provide high-quality products and services. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please read our policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

2. Returns

  • Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
  • Time Frame: Items must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, and in the original condition that you received them. They must also be in the original packaging.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
  • Non-returnable items: Certain items are exempt from being returned, including:
    • Custom or personalized items
    • Gift cards
    • Downloadable software products
    • Items marked as final sale

3. Return Process

  • Initiate a Return: To initiate a return, contact us at info@alterrealitee.com with your order number and reason for return.
  • Shipping: Once your return is approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address. You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Return Approval: After receiving your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.

4. Refunds

  • Approval: If your return is approved, we will process your refund. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
  • Partial Refunds: In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted (if applicable), such as items with obvious signs of use, any item not in its original condition, or items damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at shel@alterrealitee.com.

5. Exchanges

  • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us at info@alterrealitee.com with your order number and details of the defect or damage.

6. Gifts

  • If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
  • If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will be informed about your return.

7. Shipping Returns

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
